The JDS / JDS Fitel / JDSU PS3 Series Polarization Dependent Loss Multimeters mesures polarization dependent loss (PDL) and insertion loss of single-mode fiberoptics components, using either the internal or an external source. The operating range for the PS3 is 1250 to 1350nm and 1455 to 1665nm. The PS3650 does includes Optical Return Loss and does includes 1550nm internal Light Source Wavelength. This PS3 is optimized to 1550nm wavelength.
