Description
Up for sale is a vintage Cuisinart DLC-7 food processor! As you can see in the first picture, this 14-cup food processor comes with:
dough blade
disc stem
4mm slicing disc
6x6mm
Citrus Press Attachment
Whisk Attachment
Cuisinart used to have their food processors made in France but I guess it started to get too expensive because they moved production to Japan. I believe this happened in the 1980's. Japan is known for making things more excellent. They were and still are constantly trying to achieve perfection in production. That is what they did with the Cuisinart DLC-7.
This Cuisinart will not only outlast a new Cuisinart made in China; but will probably outlast a Chinese Cuisinart by a decades.
Case in point: eBay will not allow a riveted Cuisinart blade to be sold on eBay because the Chinese riveted blades were found to blow apart when in use. I tried to argue with eBay customer service stating that barring a Japanese blade to not be sold is tantamount to not allowing a 1964 Mustang to be sold on eBay because Ford also made the Pinto that could explode when rear-ended.
So, I'm also including for free, a Japanese-made cutting blade (Pic10...here's a hint: the Japanese used to make Samurai swords) that you can possibly trade in for a new cutting blade that was made in China...even though China made blades that explode during use!
Happy bidding and merry slicing, dicing and whisking!
A note on shipping:

Combined Shipping:
The eBay calculator makes mistakes: The last one was two items that when combined by eBay came out to over 0. I packaged the item up, took dimensions and weight, and then sent the buyer a new invoice for about .
A note on negative feedback:
The last negative feedback I received (2 out of 200 within the last 12 months) was from a buyer who I informed that when I was testing the heater out before I shipped it, quit blowing out heat. Yes, the bids were low but if you look at my completed items, you'll see I ship items even if they sell for .25 (I spent a lot more for that Cuisinart)! So, please follow eBay's suggestion and contact me before leaving negative feedback. Sometimes emails aren't delivered by eBay so please try at least twice...the 2nd time by "asking seller a question" on one of my current auctions. Negative feedback can make it so a seller will be limited or suspended from selling. That would be unfair to me and to the 200 HAPPY buyers who took the time to leave positive feedback.
Another note on feedback:
I leave feedback about once a month. It is time consuming to leave feedback so I only do it for those who leave feedback for me. I am not a business. I do everything myself: buy, research, list, respond to questions, send invoices, package (and packing items is the worst, most-time consuming and unpleasant part...especially when I have to MAKE the box), and ship...while trying to raise two children by myself.
God gave me many gifts but perfection isn’t one of them.
